That History Can't Forget

Some people change history. Not everyone receives credit.
America turns 250 in 2026 — a once-in-a-lifetime milestone. Maison Vero is commemorating it with timeless elegance. Not with politicians or celebrities; rather, through a stunning full color, hardcover coffee table book titled Two Fifty: A Tribute to 250 Americans That History Can't Forget releasing July 4, 2026.
This one-of-a-kind book features 250 unsung Americans whose quiet courage, selfless service, and everyday entrepreneurialism or heroism built this country from the ground up. Whether it’s your great-great grandmother, a local business owner or educator, or your favorite uncle, this is your chance to honor an extraordinary American and preserve their legacy.
Imagine:
Walking into grandma’s apartment or home on July 4th, handing her this stunning book of thoughtfully curated tributes and saying “grandma, this is for you, take a look at page 138.”
Where she then sees a beautiful tribute to her late husband (father/mother/sister/brother/etc.), brought back to life for all of America to remember through a single cherished photograph and a lovingly, written tribute alongside 249 other American Heros.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can I nominate?
Anyone whose life story reflects a contribution to America — a teacher, entrepreneur, public servant, first responder, military veteran, community leader, parent, or grandparent. The story must be about someone other than yourself, though someone else can nominate you.
Why is there a $50.00 Deposit?
It provides you with a polished and edited version of your story and secures your nominee's spot as one of the 250 honorees. The $50 applies toward your total investment of $775 total which is due once your story is accepted upon story accepted.
What if my story isn't accepted?
If your initial submission doesn't meet our editorial standards, you will be contacted to receive coaching to further refine your story.
While unlikely, we reserve the right to decline stories that are not aligned with the spirit of the book, in which case your depost would be fully refunded.
How long should the story be?
Between 300–400 words. Enough to tell a real story, while short enough to read in about two minutes.
Our editorial team will help refine your submission to fit one full page, with one photograph, resulting in a powerful tribute.
What kind of photograph is needed?
The highest resolution you can find — color preferred, black and white accepted.
Historical photos from any era are permissable. Our team will do everything possible to make your photograph present well in print.
How many copies do I receive?
Every participant receives two (2) hardcover copies, shipped to arrive on or around June 30, 2026.
Additional copies will be available for purchase on all major bookseller online sites.
What is the book's format?
A premium full color, hardcover "coffee table" style book. Each page includes the honoree's name, their birth year (and passing year, if deceased) and designed to highlight a single photograph complementing in your carefully curated story.
Does the honoree need to know they're being nominated?
The decision is yours. You decide what and how to share regarding your nominee's inclusion.
